Sierra Burnished Clay Handmade Pendant Lamp 
Representative technique of Tonalá, Jalisco, Mexico, a city known as "pottery cradle", due to its historical and cultural heritage.
The burnished clay technique, classified for its function and decoration as "earthenware", has its peculiarity in the shine of
pieces that are obtained by rubbing them with a metallic stone called pyrite.
Its process begins by smoothing the piece with sandpaper moistened with water following by river stones. Once the piece is completely dry, the colors for its decoration are chosen using only mineral colors, to finalize the process with the burnishing.
The whole process is done before the burning stage. Until that specific moment is when we obtain a beautiful final piece.

Our Nahual lamp is perfect in the bedroom as a hanging pendant bedside lamp, as kitchen island lights, bar or counter lights or simply as accent lighting in those special spots at home.

Burnished clay use and care:
To clean, simply apply a solution of mild dish detergent and warm water, using a damp sponge or rag.
