COCOLVÚ was born in Mexico City in a family where painting and music were a daily distraction and pleasure. He grew up surrounded by oil paintings in the making, brushes, art books and music, which marked many of his childhood memories. 

As a teenager, shapes and colors became the perfect way to express his ideas and emotions. Inspired and truly amazed by the way thoughts can be expressed with the hands to create a whole new language, Cocolvú formally emerged, creating art by exploring illustration, signs, textures, shapes and anything that can connect the sight with manual skills, with the limit of his own imagination.
